The Philadelphia Science Fiction Society

Aka "PSFS." Our good friends, proprietors of Philcon, with whom we share the WYBE pledge nights. They have monthly meetings with excellent guests. They are very friendly and welcoming to all visiting Prydonians!

Their meetings are usually the second Friday of each month, starting at 8 p.m., at the University of Pennsylvania's International House, 37th & Chestnut streets, Philadelphia). Directions below.

PSFS hosts the annual Philcon convention in Philadelphia. 

Directions:

Take Route 295 South towards the Walt Whitman Bridge. (You can get to Route 295 from Exits 3, 4 and 7 off the New Jersey Turnpike).

Get off at Exit 26 (Route I-76 West)

Go over the bridge (there is a $3 toll on the Pa. side) and continue to Exit 41 (University Ave.).

Get off at Exit 41 and stay on that road (there will be lots of twists and turns). Continue to 38th Street and turn right on Chestnut.

BE WARNED: There is only street parking and most of the roads in this area are one-way streets.
